Signs of Moles

Identify the culprit before your grass dies.

Surface Tunnels

Raised ridges in the grass that feel squishy when you step on them. These are feeding tunnels where moles hunt for worms and grubs near the surface.

Dirt Mounds (Volcanoes)

Perfectly round piles of fine soil pushed up from deep underground. Unlike gopher mounds (which are fan-shaped), mole mounds are volcano-shaped.

Why Grub Killer Doesn't Work Immediately

Many homeowners try to stop moles by applying grub control chemicals. While this is good for your lawn's health, it rarely stops an active mole infestation for two reasons:

  1. Moles Eat Earthworms: Earthworms make up a huge part of their diet. You cannot (and should not) kill all the earthworms in your soil.
  2. Desperation Digging: If you remove their food source, moles often dig more aggressively in the short term to find food before moving on.

This is why physical trapping is the only reliable way to stop damage now.

Mole Trapping Costs

Mole removal is a process, not a one-time event. Our pricing reflects this ongoing effort.

01

Setup Fee

This covers the initial visit to probe the lawn, locate active tunnels, and set the trap line. It involves skilled labor to find the right spots.

02

Per-Mole Fee (Results Based)

We charge a fee for each mole caught. This incentivizes us to be successful. Most lawns only have 2-3 moles causing all the damage.

03

Monitoring Visits

We return regularly (usually weekly) to check traps and remove animals until no new activity is seen.

Our Trapping Strategy

1. Locate Active Tunnels

Not all tunnels are used daily. We probe the ground to find the "superhighways" that moles travel frequently.

2. Set Precision Traps

We place underground traps that kill instantly. They are hidden below the surface, safe from pets and children.

3. Food Source Management

We assess your lawn for grub infestations. Treating the grubs helps prevent future moles from moving in.
