Our Humane Approach
1. Eviction (Maternal)
For mother foxes with kits, we use harassment techniques (lights/scents) to encourage her to move them on her own. This is safer for the family.
2. Trapping
For solitary males or sick animals, we use cage traps. We handle sick foxes with care to prevent disease spread.
3. Exclusion
Once the den is empty, we install an L-footer trench barrier of steel mesh so no other animal can move back in.
