When to Call for Emergency Service

Animal in Living Space

A raccoon in your kitchen, a bat in your bedroom, or a snake in your living room requires immediate attention.

Aggressive Animal

If an animal is acting aggressively and posing a direct threat to people or pets, call us immediately.

Sick or Injured Wildlife

Animals behaving unusually may be sick or injured, posing a potential health risk that needs professional handling.

What To Do Until We Arrive

Bat in the Bedroom?

DO NOT lose sight of it. If a bat is flying in your living space:

  1. Close the doors to confine it to one room.
  2. Place a towel under the door gap (they can crawl under).
  3. Do not open a window (we need to catch it to test for rabies if there was human contact).
  4. Call us immediately.

Snake in the House?

Keep your distance, but keep eyes on it.

  1. Snakes are masters of hiding. If you look away for 2 minutes, it will vanish into a vent or behind a cabinet.
  2. Take a photo from a safe distance (helps us ID the species).
  3. Isolate pets and children in another room.
  4. Wait for our technician.
