Dead Animal Removal
That smell isn't going away on its own. We locate, remove, and sanitize the area—even if it's inside your wall.
Emergency RemovalWhy You Must Act Fast
Delaying removal makes the problem exponentially worse.
Health Hazards
Decomposing bodies release bacteria and spores into the air you breathe. They also leak fluids that stain ceilings and ruin insulation.
Permeating Odors
The smell of decay embeds itself in curtains, carpets, and clothes. The longer the source remains, the harder it is to remove the smell.
Secondary Infestations
A carcass is a magnet for Flesh Flies, Carrion Beetles, and maggots. A fly infestation in your home is often the first sign of a dead animal.
Why You Can't "Just Wait It Out"
Lingering Odor
A dead raccoon or opossum can smell for 2-3 months. The odor seeps into drywall, carpets, and furniture, often requiring professional deodorization to remove.
Secondary Pests
The carcass attracts flesh flies (maggots) and carpet beetles. Once the animal is consumed, these bugs migrate into your home to infest your pantry and wool rugs.
Health Risks
Handling dead wildlife exposes you to bacteria and parasites. We use full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and sanitize the area immediately.
Hard-to-Reach Extractions
If you can smell it but can't see it, we can find it.
Inside a Wall Void
Animals often fall down wall cavities from the attic and get stuck.
Our Method:
We use sniff-detection and thermal cameras to pinpoint the exact location. We cut a small, surgical hole in the drywall, remove the animal, disinfect the void, and can even patch the drywall for you.
Deep in a Crawlspace
Sick animals retreat to the darkest, farthest corner of your crawlspace to die.
Our Method:
We suit up in Tyvek gear and respirators to crawl the entire length of your home. We bag the animal, remove contaminated soil, and fog the area with an enzyme digester to kill the smell instantly.
Dead Animal Removal Pricing
Accessible Removal (Flat Fee)
If the animal is in the yard, driveway, or easily accessible part of an attic, we charge a low flat service call fee.
Difficult Extraction (Quote)
If we have to cut drywall, remove decking, or crawl into tight spaces, the price reflects the labor and hazardous conditions. We give you the price before we cut.
How We Handle The Mess
1. Pinpoint Location
Animals often die in the hardest-to-reach places. We use our expertise in building construction to predict where they are. We use minimal-invasive tools to confirm the location before we cut.
2. Extraction & Clean
We remove the carcass, maggots, and any soiled insulation. We bag everything in biohazard bags for safe disposal off-site.
3. Deodorization
We don't just spray perfume. We use industrial atomizers with enzyme-based neutralizers that eat the odor-causing bacteria on a molecular level.
4. Prevention
Most importantly, we find how the animal got in and seal the entry point so you don't have to deal with this again next month.
